Here are some recent family shots: The family on the front porch Cool shades Last week we said good-bye to Mechel’s crib and set up his new BIG boy bed. I had planned for many sleepness nights during this transition and anticipated him jumping out of bed at every chance he could get…..but to my pleasant surprise he slept very well on the first night (and every night [...] Mechel has officially entered the TERRIFIC TWO’S! How terrific you may be wondering? Verbally it is an exciting time and he has a very large vocabulary and is speaking in nearly complete sentences. Just this morning he yelled upon waking up, “Mommie, where are you? Open my door please!” Emotionally [...] When Mechel’s Bubbe and Zayde visited in June, they bought him a tricyle! Mechel absolutely loves to ride around the yard despite the fact that he cannot pedal! One day, weeks after they had gone back to Portland, Mechel was riding around on his trike and suddenly he yelled, “Thank you Zayde!” [...] 8/20/03 |
