Baila has mastered quite a few letters in cursive already. She can write her name, but she still prefers print letters. Here she is practicing the letter /b/ at school last week:

I did a little redecorating for Baila’s birthday last night! Baila was having a ton of trouble sleeping the last month or so, and she told us it was because she did not like her loft bed (sorry Bubbe and Zayde). We finally took it down and she has been sleeping fine for the last three nights. Phew! So, I took the opportunity to get her some princess things, which she loves. Beware: pink overload!! The new bedding! (Notice her birthday bow she stuck to the wall!):

Today was Baila’s birthday walk in school! We began with the beautiful book On the Day You Were Born, which the kids look forward to. She then circled the sun five times as we shared photos and stories about her! Then of course the much anticipated chocolate cake! Baila poses in front of the calendar:
